Wai Ming is an occupational therapist who has been working with infants, children and adolescents with special needs for more than 10 years both locally as well as in Australia and Cambodia. He has worked in various settings in special schools, early intervention clinics and public hospitals and with a wide range of conditions including children with autism, cerebral palsy, attention deficit and hyperactivity, dyspraxia, sensory integration dysfunction and developmental delays. He has done consultancy work and training for both professionals as well as parents.

Wai Ming graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology with National University of Singapore and also a Bachelor of Science with honours in Occupational Therapy from Australia. He holds licensure to practice in the United States. He is certified in the use of Pediatrics Neurodevelopmental Therapy (NDT) as well as SAMONAS and modulated music sound therapy. In addition, he has attended numerous trainings and workshops in Sensory Integration, using the floortime approach and craniosacral therapy.

His clinical area of interest is in the use of sensory integration and NDT in treatment of infants and children with behavioural regulation, attention issues and movement-based difficulties. Apart from his work, he is also keen in exploring yoga and mindfulness as basis for well-being and personal development.
