Malaysia Airlines MH17 Tragedy: 298 Feared Dead Including 3 Infants

Our hearts go out to the families and friends of the passengers & crew aboard MH17!

298* passengers and crews, including three infants aboard Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 travelling from Amsterdam – Schiphol airport to Kuala Lumpur International Airport has crashed in Ukraine yesterday, near the Russian border. It has been proven that it was shot down by pro-Russian rebels.

Plumes of black smoke could be seen from a considerable distance. No survivors have been found. World leaders have called for a full investigation into this sad tragedy.

*Malaysia Airlines has since released a statement saying there were 298 people on board, not 295 as originally suggested. And the figure might add up to 300.
