6 year old, Glenn Buratti from Florida, has invited his classmates to his birthday party. It was supposed to be a jovial event but guess what? No one RSVP for the event, no one showed up!
Sensing that something wasn’t right, Glenn repeatedly asked his Mom, ‘When will my friends get here?’ His mother, Ashlee Buratti was absolutely heartbroken. She took her rant to Facebook and received a huge surprise!
This is what she wrote:
“Rant.. I know this might be something silly to rant about, but my heart is breaking for my son. We invited his whole class (16 kids) over for his 6th birthday party today. Not one kid came. I feel so bad for my son. He keeps asking “when will my friends get here?” Poor kid. I feel so bad for him”
She received tons of replies, many asking if they could come for the party.
“Then Osceola County Sheriff’s Office got in touch saying they would be flying over the family’s Florida home… Glenn, who loves anything law enforcement or public safety, was overjoyed when several fire crews also put in an appearance. In total, about 15 children and 25 adults came to eat cake and give gifts – which even included a bike”, as reported by Mirror.
I bet the little boy had a thrill of his life to have such amazing people celebrating his 6th Birthday together with him! It will be one great and beautiful memory to last forever!
